Boss-ton
Much has been publicized about the recent demolition derby that the sports teams of Boston have been under. It seems like years of curses have all been traded in for wins, wins, and more wins. Lets take a closer look.
Celtics - (7-0) - The offseason trades to acquire KG, and Ray Allen, who, in my humble opinion are the fiercest and smoothest players in the game, respectively, have contributed to a Green Machine that doesn't look to be stopping anytime soon. They have established what most NBA teams dream about, an inside AND outside game + defense. If the Celts keep this up, they will join the Patriots and go undefeated.
Speaking of the Pats, they too are dominating their league at 9-0. Many believe, especially those in Boston, that they will run the table all the way to the Superbowl. I'd have to agree, the only remaining opponent that will get in their way is the NY Giants on the last game of the season. You better believe that Belichek (sp) and staff will go for it if it comes down to the last game of the season. Remember, if the Pats lock in the best record in the AFC, they have a bye the first week of the playoffs.
Oh, yeah, PLAYOFFS, the Red Sox just won their second championship in four years by sweeping the Rockies (what a story that was!), and the Sox looked poised to do it again next year.
And don't forget about the BC Eagles who were ranked as high as #2 this year in college football.
And not like anyone is paying attention but the Bruins are off to a fantastic start, and the New England soccer team just made it to the championships game.
So there you have it. The NBA, NFL, MLB, NCAA, NHL, and MLS are all being dominated by New England sports teams.
